Learning To Love Fruit

I’ve been learning to love fruit.  So far month, I’ve eaten plums, grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, peaches, and pears.  It’s amazing.  Once I stopped eating sugary-snacks, and started eating more fruits, my taste-buds changed.  Now, when I eat a piece of fruit, I actually taste the fruit.  Plus, now that I’m far less food, overall, each mouthful has more meaning.  Slowly but surely, I’m changing my attitude about food.  (Granted, I still dream of French fries and Snickers, but I’m learning to eat fresh, healthy fruit.)

Fruit and veggies have really made the difference for me. While apples and bananas have been staples for me since the beginning, I’ve also been enjoying lots of good fruit this year. One of my favorites is strawberries and/or blueberries mixed in with some fat free plain yogurt, with just a bit of sweetener.

I hope you keep up the good work, cause I love you alot and want us both around when our little ones bring home more little ones for us to spoil! Love ya – squirt

It’s always a good change to start loving fruits. I also have that craving, but that doesn’t stop me from eating healthy.

I also don’t like vegetables at first. But as I realize its importance in our health, I began to like it.
