Here's another resource, not sure if you already listen to this podcast (Fat 2 Fit Radio), but really good advice. This particular episode covers plateaus. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/2008/10/fat-2-fit-show-45-breaking-weight-loss-plateaus/

I used to run 2 miles in 30 min/3 times a week in JAN. I did loose weight.
Did the same in FEB, the scale did not change!
Moved over to elliptical, changed weight training, changed food habits, nothing happened!
After my stall of over 5 weeks!, one fine day last week I sucked it up and I ran 2.5 miles. I bumped it up to 2.75 miles by the end of last week. It showed up on my scale pretty quickly!

It does take a lot of will power to push yourself on the thread mill, but it worth it i guess, give it a try for 1 week(3 times)!

Eat a big juicy steak and potatoes. Carb and protein it up. One day. Next day, go back to your regular diet and drink water and exercise. See if that works. Sometimes you have to shock the bod. You are on a plateau. Also, it helps to take measurements and watch them change. Muscle weighs more than fat so you might be bulking up with muscle and that's why your weight hasn't changed but your measurements might have. Personally, I find the measurement way to be a better way to gauge my weight loss. A pound of fat and a pound of muscle weigh the same but a pound of muscle is a whole lot smaller than a pound of fat.

A warning for you, the steak and potatoes might hurt your stomach if you've been eating nothing but vegetables and fruits.

Good luck!

First off, thanks for the great resources and inspiring posts. I'm currently on my own weight loss journey and am down 27 pounds in three months.

One thing that's worked for me when I've stalled for a couple weeks is to change my workout routine completely. New equipment, new exercises, and the amount of cardio vs strength. Someday's I just do cardio others both. But, each day is different then the previous.

Keep up the great work.

How many calories are you eating? It's possible that it's time to either cut back a bit more or else amp up you workouts.
