After a month of “drifting along”, I am now mentally focused and prepared to move forward. I was sick for the better part of three weeks and was unable to get much (if any) real exercise. Now, I’m back, baby! I started my day with plenty of water, some hardy oatmeal, and a nice turkey sandwich. I’ll be going to the gym around 3PM and I am (get ready…) excited! My weight sits at 230, right where I left it three weeks ago. Hopefully, the “shock” of exercise will cause my body to “release” a few extra pounds. Clearly, January was a great month. I hope to “recapture” the magic and start to lose weight again.
Here’s what I’ve eaten today… cough drop, cracker, cough drop, cracker, cough drop, cracker… you get the picture. I am sick. I have a TERRIBLE head cold, worse than I originally thought. I’ve FINALLY decided to go to the doctor Wednesday. I realize that this may be the most boring blog post you will ever read, but my brain is functioning at about 5%.
Somehow, despite the fact that I’ve been eating well and exercising, my weight has jumped UP by SIX POUNDS. I’m hoping that this is just “water weight” or something weird like that. I’m not… going… to… freak… out…!
Here’s my newest chart. It reflects my current weight loss. As of Monday morning, I weigh… 232.5 Pounds! Yes. I’ve lost 14.5 pounds! Check it out:
