Yes! I made it through the pizza / ice cream / party… and I only ate a SALAD (w/o dressing) and had a bottled water! I actually enjoyed the conversation, and after the initial 5 minutes or so, I forgot that there was even food around to eat. In fact (deep inside) I felt a strange sense of “pride” as I watched other people eat stuff that I know was not good for them. It’s strange being the “healthy” one in the group. (And to think, I was always the one who asked for dessert half-way through the first course!) I rock!
