Weigh In And More Walking

I have settled into a pretty easy-to-follow routine.

Daily, I am eating two or three meal, each consisting of some type of lean meat, a few nuts, some fresh vegetables or fruit.  I am focusing on real foods – and trying to stay on the lower-carbohydrate side of the menu.

I am also drinking plenty of water – with a diet soda from time to time.  I find that I don’t really like soda when I’m eating real foods.  I think there might be some sort of junk-food-to-soda connection.  Anyway, I’m staying hydrated – with just enough caffeine to wake up in the morning.

I am walking between 4 and 6 miles per day.  I’ve begun to add  a bit of jogging – but I think I am another 20 pounds or so away from really being comfortable when I run.

As for my weight, as of today, I am down 10.2 pounds.

My goal is to lose a total of 80 pounds.  I have 69.8 pounds to go.

Pretty cool.
