As I’ve mentioned (several times), I am in the midst of a two-month long weight loss stall.Â Today, I rededicated myself to my eating plan and I’m focusing on getting plenty of water and exercise.Â All that I can do, until my body decides to start dropping pounds again, is be faithful to my plan and work hard.Â I’ve incorporated a few of your suggestions, I’m going to try to do a better job of tracking calories, and I’m going to continue to focus on the health benefits associated with my new lifestyle.
Yesterday, I had a chance meeting with a friend that I had not seen since last November.Â She said – actually, she shouted –
Dude, how much weight have you lost?Â You are wasting away!
It’s moments like this, and comments like this, that a not-as-fat-as-I-was-six-months-ago kinda person really loves hearing.Â I just smiled, and enjoyed the compliment.
Now, it’s off to the treadmill – and a little more wasting away.
