Gym Report For 02-06-2007

I went to the gym.  I did a warm up walk for 5 minutes at 3.0.  Then, I hopped on a piece of equipment that I’d never used before: An Elliptical Machine.  Holy Toledo.  The Elliptical is either A) An awesome machine for losing weight or B) A device created by the Devil.  The Elliptical was awesome!  It took me about 5 minutes to figure out the settings and how to use it, but after that, I loved it!  I was on the Elliptical for a total of about 20 minutes, and then I did some basic leg exercises.  I have to be REALLY careful when I do leg work, because my muscles are SO tight.  I actually had physical therapy when I was a teenager to help stretch my hamstrings.  I spend a LOT of time stretching and warming up, and I like to spend some time “cooling down” after a workout.  I really enjoyed today’s workout, and I am so glad that I made the decision to go to the gym.  Once again, I rock!

  1. Oh my gosh, I love the elliptical! It’s so easy on the knees, too, much better than running or jogging. That’s what I miss most about the gym membership we dropped a few months ago. Good luck with it!
