As part of my Health Optimization Plan (H.O.P.) – my official weigh in days are Mondays.
This week, however, I had to deal with a kidney stone.
The kidney stone is gone, so I decided to do my weigh in on Friday.

I was unable to go to the gym this week, due to the kidney stone. Now that I feel better, I can’t wait to get back on the treadmill. Frankly, I’m surprised that I lost any weight, and I’m super excited to be so close to 225. Rock on.
That is one heavy kidney stone! Nice work! It is encouraging to me to track your progress…As I sit on my butt. I shall begin running as well.
Kidney stones are definitely no fun. I was lucky enough to pass my first one in the hospital 10 mins after getting my one and only taste of morphine! I’ve passed two more at home which were more of an interesting experience than painful. Anyway, one extremely cheap, and healthy, home preventive measure to take is to eat celery on a daily or semi-daily basis. I can’t remember what celery contains that stops the formation of new kidney stones, but this remedy has worked wonders for me, and how can you go wrong eating fresh celery?
