Somehow, despite the fact that I’ve been eating well and exercising, my weight has jumped UP by SIX POUNDS. I’m hoping that this is just “water weight” or something weird like that. I’m not… going… to… freak… out…! The following is a guest post. I mentioned (in yesterday’s post) that the “L-Train” might write a post about our workout. And, you can go ahead and laugh. It’s o.k.
I’ve just got a few comments to make about this “guest post”. First, I had no IDEA what a “quarter” was. I learned that a “quarter” is a 25 Pound weight. As for almost falling off of the treadmill, I was mearly demonstrating treadmill safety (and how to recover from a nearly catastrophic fall…). This post was written by my good friend who runs the Weight Master site located here. If you have a second, check out his site and click around.
Wow. A friend of mine (I’ll call him “L-Train” because that’s a dorky sounding nickname…) met me at the gym today for a workout. Three hours later, I made my way slowly to my car, drenched in sweat, a weary (but not broken) man. Okay, maybe it wasn’t THAT dramatic, but I was tired nonetheless. (It took three hours because he was showing me some techniques and we spent some time talking.) Hopefully the “L-Train” will write a post for me tomorrow and let you guys in on how weak I am.
I lost half of a pound! 230.5. Finally, the scaled moved. I should never have been so focused on the scale to begin with, but after losing so much weight is such short period of time, I was getting a little desparate to see the needle move. So, even though it’s “only” half a pound, it’s HALF A POUND!!! I’ve been working out 4 or 5 days a week. 30 minutes of cardio plus a focused workout. (I’m loving the eliptical!) I wore a sport coat Sunday morning and it not only fit me, it was a tad too big! Yes! Thanks for all of the support and comments. Here’s my newest chart:
I HATE my body… 231… Still… 3 Weeks… And… I… Still… Weigh… 231… Pounds… Seriously… |
