I’ve got to admit it, I feel so much better after going a week without fast food. (I did eat a burger from Wendy’s on Thursday… and I immediately regretted it.) I’m proud of myself for resisting the temptation to eat junk, and I was rewarded by fewer mood swings, and an overall better attitude. Instead of fast food, I cooked all week long. We ate plenty of freshly prepared vegetables, baked bread, and lean chicken. I still at too much food, but at least it was the “right kind” of food.
