Weigh In

Not Exactly A Freefall, But…

I lost half of a pound!  230.5.  Finally, the scaled moved.  I should never have been so focused on the scale to begin with, but after losing so much weight is such short period of time, I was getting a little desparate to see the needle move.  So, even though it’s “only” half a pound, it’s HALF A POUND!!!

I’ve been working out 4 or 5 days a week.

30 minutes of cardio plus a focused workout.  (I’m loving the eliptical!)

I wore a sport coat Sunday morning and it not only fit me, it was a tad too big!  Yes!

Thanks for all of the support and comments.

Here’s my newest chart:

  1. Excellent, and not just the loss but the sticking with it without the number on the scale to boost your confidence!

I’d love to know the why’s of how the human body works with regard to weight loss… I remember a woman at Weight Watchers who was going through the same thing as you. She was eating the right things and had thrown herself into a rigorous workout routine and the scale was not budging. The meeting leader actually suggested that she cut back a little on her working out for a little while to get the scale moving downward again. Her advice made no sense to me, but I figured she had seen everything and knew what she was talking about.

I’m NOT suggesting you take her advice! I’m just saying that it’s strange how the human body reacts. Anyway, I’ll stop rambling. WTG!

  2. Great job! I think it is important to focus on the fact that your clothes are fitting better and your body is changing. Things are happening…
